He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Sluiter and Zena Sluiter; and his former wife Linda Sluiter. He is survived by: his children, Denisa Cook (Chris) of Gardner, IL and Gerald Sluiter (Nicole) of Sandwich, IL; and his siblings, Susan Ratliff, Lyle Sluiter of Frankfort, IL and Ralph Sluiter (Marge). He is also survived by four grandchildren, including three granddaughters and one grandson.
