With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diane E. Shutts (Joliet, Illinois), born in Hays, Kansas, who passed away on July 24, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Muriel Blanche Jones and Thomas W. Jones, II. She is survived by: her husband Robert Shutts; her daughters, Sara E. Shutts (John Fruit) of Joliet and Cynthia D. Shutts of Joliet; her grandchildren, David and Julia; her brother Thomas W. Jones III (Debbie); her sibling's children, Heather Jones Morgan and Ryan Jones (Jennifer); her great-niece Reagan Jones; and her great-nephew Colton Jones.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Edward & Christ Episcopal Church (206 N Midland Ave, Joliet, IL 60435). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Saint Edward & Christ Episcopal Church (210 N Midland Ave, Joliet, IL 60435).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests gifts to the JJC Foundation or Childerguild.
