It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Mae Ferguson (Joliet, Illinois), who passed away on March 12, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Bertram Stein and Mary Anne "Mae" Stein (Sullivan); her daughter Cynthia; her husbands, Richard Vershay and Walter Ferguson; her grandchildren, Nicholas and Shanna; and her brother Eugene Stein (late Bernadine).
She is survived by : her children, Gregg Vershay (Jodi Wartenberg), James Ferguson, Lori Konkel (Mark Krusik) and Lynn Martin (William); her grandchildren, Anton, Tara, Lisa, Vanessa, Jarrod (Harriet), Taylor (Katie), Kailee (Aristeo) and Mateo; her great grandchildren, Ariadne, Hunter and Maddux; and her brothers, Charles Stein (late Ninian) and Robert Stein (Phyllis). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
