It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy E. Atkins (Joliet, Illinois), who passed away on March 30, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband James E. Atkins. She is survived by : her sons, James Atkins (Joan), Daniel Atkins (Sue) and Bruce Atkins (Janette). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Grace United Methodist Church (1718 Avalon Ave, Joliet, IL 60435). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers memorials to T2T.org will be appreciated.
