He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Barnett and Nettie Barnett (Brandon); his brother Donald; and his granddaughter Ally Tvrz. He is survived by: his wife Paula; his stepchildren, Scott Ritter (Jen) of Coal City, Sharon Tvrz (Danny) of Diamond and Michael Ritter (Tiffany, family: Frank, Dawn Kasper) of Tennessee; his former wife Debi; and his sisters-in-law, Pam Loveland of Essex and Peggy Dore (Jack) of Wilmington, Illinois.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his second family.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Doug's memory to his family and forwarded to the funeral home, where they will be distributed to charities that were especially meaningful to him.
