He was predeceased by: his father Robert Targett; and his father-in-law Warren Sexton. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Targett; his children, Sara Kelsey (Kent), Brandon Targett and Steven Targett (Jace); his grandchildren, Tristan, Brayden, Kameron, Laynee Kelsey, Aiden, Payton Targett and Paisley Targett; his mother Barbara Targett; his siblings, Janet Targett, Robert Targett (Jean) and Paul Targett (Anna); his mother-in-law Marlene Sexton; and his brothers, Dave Sexton (Laurie) and Bob Sexton (Candy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Doug's name may be made to the Illinois Cancer Foundation.
