He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Damiani (Eleanore) and Eleanore Damiani; and his sister Jan Damiani-Noviello. He is survived by: his wife Kitty Damiani; his children, Edward Damiani Jr. (Kim), Patty Frisella (Paul) and David Damiani (Sherri); his stepchildren, Lee Thompson and Katy Thompson; and his brothers, Ron Tripoli, Tony Tripoli and Bruce Ebener. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
