She is survived by: her children, Tonya James, Sean Devers (Lashae) and Jason Devers (Ingrid); her grandchildren, Jzanecia Richardson, Nakari Caruth, Denico Caruth, Sariya Devers, Makayla Devers, Jason Devers and Eden Devers; her great grandchildren, Logan Richardson and Maison Caruth; and her siblings, Emma Sheppard, Doris James, Robert James, Jr., Lawrence James (Mary), Marilyn James and Dennis James (Callie). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Homes - Joliet (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431).
