Frederick Podlenski Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on March 31, 2026, at the age of 85, Frederick Podlenski of Joliet, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Frederick may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Frederick touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Podlenski and Ruth Podlenski (Wilder); his wife Penny Podlenski; and his siblings, Richard, John and Marguerite.
He is survived by: his children, Laura Podlenski of Wilmington and Kenneth Podlenski of San Diego, CA; his stepdaughter Jaime Johnson (Fletcher) of Texas; and the mother of his children Gail Podlenski of Joliet. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and his former wife.
