With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gabriel Carreno Sr. of Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on March 6, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Tuburcio Carreno and Vicenta Blanco Carreno; his siblings, Manuela, Guadalupe, Humberto, Jesus and Arturo; and his grandson Genaro Leal Jr..
He is survived by : his wife Enedina Carreno; his children, Julia Clemens (Ed), Anna Groff (Richard), Susan Kljaich (Michael), Gabriel Carreno Jr. (Jeannie), Adam Juarez (Deb), Mark Juarez (Patricia), Terra Chapman (Phil) and Nicole Proimos (Pete); his grandchildren, Sara, Kevin, Eric, Ashton, Cecelia, Joseph, Abigail, Max, Shaylie, Payton, Mason, Westin and Andreana; his brother Juan Carreno; his nephew Israel Carreno (Eloisa); and his great grandchild Hailey Jo Lynn Walker. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
