With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary D. Martin of Joliet, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Gary may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Martin and Estelle Martin. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne "Sue" Martin; his children, Michael Martin and Lisa Eggemeyer; his grandchildren, Brett Eggemeyer (Monica) and Shay Kistinger (Zach); and his great grandchildren, Ethan and Caleb Kistinger.
