He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Brumund (Carter); his daughter Julie Brumund (James Gielow); his granddaughter MacKenzie Hippman (Ryan); his siblings-in-law, Nancy McDade (Robert) and Douglas Carter (Jane Radke); and his nephews, Michael and Matthew Carter.
