He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Gustafson and Dorothy Gustafson; and his brother David Gustafson. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Gustafson; his siblings, Glenn Gustafson Jr. and Mary Christl (Eddie); his children, Scott Gustafson (Martha) and Lisa Schroeder (Todd); his grandchildren, Emily, Abigail, Dylan Gustafson, Jacob and Alyssa Schroeder; and his great grandchild Brooklyn Schroeder. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Forsythe Gould Funeral Home (507 S State St, Manhattan, IL 60442). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 at the St. Joseph Cemetery (15800 W Manhattan Rd, Manhattan, IL 60442).
