He was predeceased by: his former wife Carol A. Carlson; and his parents, Harold J. Carlson and Annabelle Carlson. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia R. Carlson; and his cousins, Jim Werner (Nancy), Terry Werner (Sharon), Tom Werner (Judy), Kathy Fischer (late Mark), Jeanne Wolfe (John), Ann Mundt (Tim), Mike Hasselbauer (late Tanya) and Karen Hasselbauer Burke (Doug).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carlson Holmquist Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory (2320 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60435). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory (2320 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60435). The inurnment will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (23060 W Jefferson St, Joliet, IL 60431).
