He was predeceased by: his parents, Conway Sterling Sr. and Mary Sterling; and his brothers, Conway Sterling Jr., Jack Sterling, Glenn Sterling and Jim Sterling.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine Sterling; his daughter Melissa Sterling; his stepchildren, Timothy Sweeney, Jennifer Sweeney, Kenny Sweeney and Dennis Sweeney; his grandchildren, Raquel, Angelica and Donessa; and his siblings, Earl Lee Sterling (Jeannie McCombs), Albert Sterling (Terri), Louis Sterling, Sharon Stein, Betty Moore, Virginia Garza and Gaylene Harden (George). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any donations to assist in offsetting the unexpected costs associated with his passing.
