With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herminia G. Hernandez (Joliet, Illinois), who passed away on August 25, 2023 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband David Z Hernandez; her parents, Martin Gonzalez and Anastasia Gonzalez; her siblings, Fidel Gonzalez, Maria Gonzalez, Jesus Avila and Jovita Salgado; her son Angel Hernandez; and her great grandchild Martin Martinez.
She is survived by: her children, Raquel Aguado, Ernestina Lopez (Antonio), Rosa Gonzalez, Maria Vandamme (Greg), Maricela Hernandez and Efrain Hernandez (Tomasa); and her friends, Gracia Gonzalez and Graciela "Chela" Guzman. She is also survived by her 32 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends.
