She was predeceased by: her parents, Egiedio Haiz and Lillian Haiz; and her husband Robert Charles Komarek. She is survived by: her son Michael Komarek (Elizabeth); her granddaughter Samantha Komarek; and her sisters, Judy Volanti (late Carl) and Linda Lamberg (late Ronald). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Homes - Joliet (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
