It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry D. Martin (Joliet, Illinois), who passed away on December 26, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Steven G. Martin; his parents, Arid Martin and Joyce Winters; his siblings, Dale Martin, Roger Martin and Ginger Winters; his father-in-law George Mercado; his brother-in-law Donald Pitts; and his nephew Brian Lopez.
He is survived by: his wife Gwen Martin; his son Michael K. Martin (Maggie); his grandsons, Ian and Camden Martin; his siblings, Janet Radakovitz (Rick), Karen Stieg, Mark Martin and Marty Martin; his mother-in-law Audrey Mercado; his siblings-in-law, Guy Mercado (Kayoko), Gail Schwartz (Jeff), Geri Pitts and Glenda Mercado; and his close friend Gwen. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
