Jessica leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Jessica’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Jessica will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Walter and Donna Matusik. She is survived by: her father Jeff Matusik (Patti Huzl Schmidt); her siblings, Chistopher Matusik, Taylor Barkauskas, Nick Barkauskas and Mike Barkauskas; and her grandparents, Ron and Virgina Specht.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McKenzie Funeral Home (15618 S Cicero Ave, Oak Forest, IL 60452). A prayer will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, any monetary gifts will be donated to an animal welfare charity.
