We are sad to announce that on February 27, 2024, at the age of 93, Joan D. Kozar of Joliet, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan D. Kozar to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband Anton; her daughter Joanie Kozar; her parents, Walter and Hilda; and her siblings, Walter, Robert Britz, Beverly and Rita Marie.

She is survived by : her children, Judith Stickels (William), Kathleen Batis (Edward, Jr.), Thomas Kozar (Linda), Janet Prado (Daniel), Robert Kozar and John Kozar (Suzy); her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Alex, Adam Stickels (Ashley), Eric (Karyn), Steven (Laura), Mark Batis (Kathryn), Mary Key (Andrew), Bridgette Kozar, Matthew, Joseph and Sean Prado; her sister Carol Kozar; and her siblings-in-law, John and Aldona Kozar. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests masses or donations be made to Lightways Hospice or Friends of Sunny Hill.
