In the sacred silence of farewell, Joan is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joan's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard McGuire and Julia McGuire; and her husband Jim. She is survived by: her children, Martin, Tom, Peggy Staszak and Kathy Shroba (Ray); and her grandchildren, Matthew and Katelyn Shroba.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lightways Hospice, who took extraordinary care of our mother at the very end of her amazing life.
