She was predeceased by: her husband John "Jack" J. McBride Jr.; her parents, Dallas Spencer and Dolores Spencer; and her sister-in-law Kathy Cecchi. She is survived by: her children, Sally Knudsen (Jim), Chris McBride (Dawn) and Kathy Mattern (Tim). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carlson Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory (2320 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60435).
