He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Mraz and Ann Mraz (Gaspich); and his brother David. He is survived by: his wife Judith (Wheeler); his children, Doug Mraz (Heidi) and Jill Baskin (Marc); and his grandchildren, Max Baskin and Riley "R. J." Baskin.
