He was predeceased by: his parents, William Vallrugo and Lillian Vallrugo; his wife Camille Vallrugo; his brother Rodney; and his nephew Kenneth Vallrugo.
He is survived by: his children, Col John Michael "Mike" Vallrugo (Dawn), Susan Schloderback (Jim) and David Vallrugo (Beth); his grandchildren, Thomas, Ryan, Peter Vallrugo, Brittany, Andrew Schloderback, Nicholas Vallrugo, Renee May (Mike) and Kevin Vallrugo; his great grandchildren, Adelyn and Jacob May; and his siblings-in-law, Kathleen Wheeler and Dennis Rogel (Shirley).
