With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Wesley Becker of Joliet, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Becker and Evelyn Becker. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Shawn Becker, Michael Montello, Rodney Montello, Anthony Montello (Susan) and Erick Montello; his grandchildren, Lexie Bruzzo, Shawn Anthony Becker, Jr., Madisyn Bruzzo and Danny Dietz; his great grandchild Isiah Bruzzo; and his siblings-in-law, Judith Sohr and Larry Ferguson (Joan). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hope United Methodist Church (2506 Caton Farm Rd, Joliet, IL 60435).
