It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Ann Buscemi of Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on January 25, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Loreto Rodorigo and Anna Rodorigo; her husband Paul Joseph Buscemi; and her brother Frank Rodorigo. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Nawrot (Lawrence "Larry") and Loreto Buscemi (Michele); her grandchildren, Disa Lesner (Joe), Anthony Buscemi (Nicole), Larry Nawrot (Ashley), Gianna D'astice (Anthony) and Christopher Nawrot (Gosia); her great grandchildren, Eleni Buscemi, Noalani Buscemi, Miliana Buscemi, Halia Buscemi, Parker Nawrot, Isabella D'astice and Luke Nawrot; her great great grandchild Maia Evans; her sister Jeanette "Cookie" Scudieri; and her sister-in-law Roseann Buscemi. She is also survived by canine companion, "Lulu," along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
