We announce the death of Joyce A. Davis (Joliet, Illinois), who passed away on May 31, 2026, at the age of 82. Joyce will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Joyce will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Joyce’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her mother Eleanor Smith; her husband Gordon T. Davis; her father Elmer F. Smith; and her siblings, John Smith (Doris), James Smith (Sally), Alice Chesnut (Jack), Helen Kokal (William) and Baby Smith.
She is survived by: her son Shawn C. Davis of Shorewood; and her sister Jean K. Cinkovich of Joliet. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
