In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Katherine had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Katherine may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Statts and Catherine Statts (Sanders); and her sister Susan Statts Kelly. She is survived by: her husband Raymond; her son Raymond Hernandez (Sydnie Weis); her stepdaughter Donna Rae Mack; and her brothers, Jay Statts, John Statts and Kurt Statts. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431).
