With sadness, we share the passing of Larry D. Johnston of Joliet, Illinois. Larry, born on November 6, 1939, passed away on October 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny T. Johnston and Jenny Johnston; his siblings, Aileen, Olan, Noble and Lloyd; and his sons, Timmothy, Craig, James and Dennis Dale Johnston.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Johnston (Park); his daughter Rhonda Burke (Tony Burke) of Joliet, IL; and his grandchildren, Bryanna (Joe Skarbek), Deana, Antoinette of Angel, TJ, Antonio, Ashley and Amari. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Crete Funeral Home (1182 Main St, Crete, IL 60417).
