She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Jonas and Lois Josephine Jonas (Cook); her former husband Harold "Doc" Dahlquist; her husband Bill Masterson; her children, Kay Dahlquist (Carroll) and Mark Dahlquist; her grandson Sheridan "Danny" Dahlquist; and her brother Robert Jonas.

She is survived by: her son Craig Dahlquist (Tricia) of Peoria; her grandchildren, Carey Donlan (Cody) of Peoria, Molly Dahlquist of St. Louis, Amanda of Peoria, Martin of Peoria, Michael of Peoria, Ellen Dahlquist of Peoria, Andrew Lindholm of Joliet, Thomas Carroll of Wisconsin and Mary Frahm (Matt) of Normal; her son-in-law Thomas Carroll of Normal; and her great grandchildren, Chloe, Daxson, Draven and Grace.

Memorials may be made to Lutheran Hillside Village Benevolent Fund or the Danny Dahlquist Memorial Fund through Bradley University.
