She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Niesen and Emma Niesen; her husband Harold McCarter; and her brother Robert Niesen. She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Maielli; her grandchildren, Steven Maielli (Piyada), Lisa Maielli and David Maielli (Samantha); her great grandchildren, Gino, Colt and Payton Maielli; and her sister Joyce Dolezal.
