It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luis A. Valdez of Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on December 14, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Luis A. Valdez to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Evaristo Valdez and Guadalupe Valdez; and his siblings, Deyanira Valdez and Victor Tamez. He is survived by: his wife Silvia Valdez; his son Luis Antonio Valdez II; and his sister Rosa Salazar. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
