He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael G. Taylor Sr. and Jerle Taylor; his grandfathers, George Taylor (Eleanor) and Arthur Dexter (Phyllis); his sister Melissa Salazar; his nephew Michael G. Taylor III; and his uncles, George Taylor and Art "Butch" Dexter.
He is survived by: his siblings, Michael Taylor Jr. (Dianna) and Monica Stech (Tom); his siblings' children, Phillip Bennett, Ethan Batson, Jeri Black (Heather), Lonnie Weets (Jaymee), Matthew Salazar (Angelica) and Maria Salazar; and his aunts and uncles, Roger Dexter (Dorothy), Bonnie Siems, Phyllis "Tooie" Fredericks, Darrell Taylor and Connie Taylor.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Farkas Funeral Home (3201 W Jefferson St, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
