She was predeceased by: her parents, Argusta Dickerson Carr and Rufus William Ford; and her siblings, Charles Carr, John Ford and Geraldine Stepney.

She is survived by: her children, Durane Moore (Zachary), Desiree Williams (James), Rueshon Ingram (Daniel), Darius Edwards (Kiesha) and James R Robinson Jr.; and her siblings, Deborah Jones, Evelyn Warren and William Ford Sr..
