He is survived by: his parents, William Oberts and Mary Oberts; his daughter Madeline "Maddie" Murphy; his brother Mark Oberts (Erica); and his sibling's children, Matthew, Olivia and Owen. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tezak Funeral Home (1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL 60435). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus (604 N Raynor Ave, Joliet, IL 60435).
