He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Slovick and Anne Slovick; and his brother Allen Slovick. He is survived by: his son Shane Slovick (Karolina Dabrowska); his granddaughter Emma; his sister Patricia Davis; his nephews, Joseph Davis and Franco Davis; and his former wife Aleta Finney.
