He was predeceased by: his parents, Timoteo Herrera and Juanita Herrera (Marquez); his grandson Daniel Rodriguez; his wife Josefa Herrera; and his siblings, Luis, Juan Francisco, Roberto and Isabel.
He is survived by: his children, Guadalupe Herrera (Maria), Estela Rodriguez (Miguel) and Jesus Herrera (Maria Otilia); his grandchildren, Norma Herrera, Miguel Rodriguez (Raquel), Saul Rodriguez (Delia), Cesar Herrera, David Herrera (Monica), Oscar Herrera and Jessica Padilla (Jorge); his great grandchildren, Crystal Bernal (Adrian), Mariano Terrazas, Yariel Terrazas, Estrella Rodriguez, Saul Rodriguez, Jr., Alonso Rodriguez, Cesar Leonardo Herrera, Catalina Herrera, Carolina Herrera, Danica Herrera, Eligio Herrera, Ivan Padilla, Daniela Padilla, Olivia Padilla and Aaron Padilla; and his great great grandchildren, Daniel Arroyo, Luna Arroyo and Esme Bernal.
