We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2025, at the age of 72, Paul J. Abraytis (Joliet, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Paul may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Abraytis (Buranello) and John Abraytis; and his brother Jon Abraytis (Elsa). He is survived by: his wife Ann Abraytis (Almberg) of Marseilles; and his daughter Savannah Abraytis of Peru.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carlson Holmquist Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory (2320 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60435). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
