She was predeceased by: her husband William Binzen; her parents, Walter Wruk and Mary Wruk; her grandson Ryan Simpson; and her sisters, Eleanor Kernc, Bernice Meditz, Dolores Elias and Rosemary Darling.
She is survived by: her daughter Pamela Simpson; her grandchildren, Dominick Chellino III (Michelle) and Brieanna Chellino (Phil Moy); her great grandchildren, Dominick IV, Luca, Lincoln, Philip, Jordan and Dillon; and her niece Patricia Walker. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Joseph Catholic Church (416 N Chicago St, Joliet, IL 60432). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
In lieu of flowers, donations to Sunny Hill Nursing Home of Will County, 421 Doris Ave. Joliet, IL 60433 and/or Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL 60431 in Phyllis' name would be appreciated.
