He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Sievers and Edna Sievers (Schuetz); his siblings, Viola Jones, Ruth Nelson and Donald Sievers; his sons-in-law, Michael Heisler and Robert Eaton; and his granddaughter Kristen Sievers.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Sievers; his children, Dawn Heisler, Douglas Sievers (Deborah) and Jill Eaton; and his grandchildren, Rebecca Bell (Jared), Ryan Sievers (Katie), Kara Sievers, Brittany Alonzo (Rommel), Christa Truhlar (Jeremiah), Heidi Bessler (Brent), Elise Heisler, Laura Heisler, Katryna Heisler, Heather Williams (Jeremy) and Amanda Johnson. He is also survived by 19 great grand-children.
