With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard J. Parks of Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on February 24, 2026 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Parks and Florence Parks; his parents-in-law, Jack and Arlene Knarr; and his close friend Joe Wood.
He is survived by: his significant other Karen; his daughters, Stephanie Parks (Brian Black), Samantha Parks (James Bowie) and Nikki Parks (Sean Liaromatis); his grandchildren, Allyssa Parks and Benjamin Bowie; and his siblings, Joanne, Bonnie, Connie, Judy, Karen, Debbie, Dale, Joe and Ronnie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many, many friends.
