He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Hercl and Olga Hercl (Hahn); his wife Patricia A. Toomey; and his brother James Hercl. He is survived by: his children, Kelly Hercl (David Johnston) of Joliet and Steven Hercl (Alesa Mueller) of Carol Stream; his brother John Hercl (Nancy); and his sister-in-law Marjorie Hercl. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
