With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Frederick Braun Jr. of Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on October 4, 2025 at the age of 47. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sr. Braun and Judith Braun; his grandparents, Henry, Sylvia Braun, William and Lucille Bergthold; his cousins, Christopher Mazurek and Christian Blameuser; his in-laws, Dennis and Eileen Lyle; Donna Vojensky, Dennis and Mike Lyle.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Maureen "Moe Moe" Rich; his siblings, Dave (Bridget Szkolny) and Dana Pich (Brad); his siblings' children, Bradley Jr., Abby, George and Conner Egan; and his brother-in-law Jeffrey Lyle.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Homes - Joliet (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
