We are sad to announce that, on March 27, 2026, at the age of 81, Robert Giarrante of Joliet, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Giarrante and Esther Giarrante; his brothers, Donald Giarrante and Gordon Giarrante; his daughter Kimberly Giarrante; and his siblings-in-law, Nola Giarrante (Rosemary Giarrante) and David Atwood (Fred Weber).
He is survived by: his spouse Fran; his children, Anne Scalia (Greg) and Joe Giarrante (Amanda); his grandchildren, Ava and Dominic Giarrante; his siblings, Tom Giarrante, Mary Atwood, Roseanne Moran (Bob) and Annette Giarrante (Janet); and his sister-in-law Carole Giarrante. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks to please make a donation to Lightways Hospice-Joliet, who helped Bob and his family so graciously through this difficult time.
