With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert L. McNear of Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on February 14, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton McNear and Victoria Belle Woodward; his wife Dorothy McNear; his son Leon McNear; and his siblings, Leon, Clayton McNear and Nora Mae McCullum.

He is survived by: his children, Earnest Darden (Scooby), Tiffiny McNear, Evelyn, Ardrenna, Duwayne and Robert (Patrick); and his grandchildren, Porschia Young, Tremaine L. Dean Jr., Gary and Kamia McDonald Jr.. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren.
