He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Rapka; his son Ricky Rapka; and his sister May Rapka. He is survived by: his children, Robert K. Rapka (Nancy) and Tammy Iwinski (Richard); his grandchildren, Bobby Rapka (Kristi), Thomas Rapka, Susan Howland (Eric) and Matthew Iwinski; his great grandchildren, Cameron Howland, Evan Howland, Lilly Howland, Abbey Rapka and Vinnie Rapka; and his brother Frank Rapka.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Farkas Funeral Home (3201 W Jefferson St, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location.
