He is survived by: his mother Elena Aguirre; his children, Rolando Acosta, Jr., Ricardo Acosta, Zeus Acosta, Santos Acosta, Lidia Acosta and Benjamin Acosta; and his siblings, Rene Acosta, Jr. (Annie) and Araceli Ordaz (Javier). He is also survived by several grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
