With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ronald J. Galiardo of Joliet, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ronald left this world on October 12, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Ronald is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Ronald's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gagliardo and Josephine Gagliardo. He is survived by: his nephews, Kevin Fitzgerald, Chris Fitzgerald and Jonathan Fitzgerald; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Carrie Fitzgerald, Allison Fitzgerald, Bryant Fitzgerald and Charles Fitzgerald.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church (195 S Kankakee St, Coal City, IL 60416). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
