She was predeceased by: her husband Robert W. Richards Sr.; and her parents, John Drauden and Alice Drauden. She is survived by: her children, Bob Richards Jr. (Kelly) and Lisa Schmitt (Ed); her grandchildren, Madison Richards, Morgan Richards, Jacob Schmitt and Kailey Schmitt; her siblings, Bob Drauden (Lori) and Dorothy Chapman (Greg); her nephew Pete Drauden (Christina); her niece Julia O'dell (Tim); and her close friend Don Brooks.
