She was predeceased by: her parents, Vito Rumchak and Mildred Rumchak; and her brother Patrick Rumchak. She is survived by: her husband William Lauer; her daughters, Sue Melone (Lou) and Patti Lauer (Chuck Kinder); her grandchildren, Stephanie Geinopolos (Michael), Sarah Melone and Tom Melone (Mariah); her siblings, William Rumchak (Carol), Jim Rumchak (Nancy) and Jean Janes (David); and her caregivers, Lori and Gina. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, treasured friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carlson Holmquist Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory (2320 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60435). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory (2320 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60435).
